Designing a sneaker for a 7-foot, 300+ pound center that did his best to rip the rim down with every dunk must have been a dizzying task. Maybe that was the inspiration designers used for 1995’s Reebok Shaqnosis. Or maybe it was the way the Big Aristotle put opposing coaches in a tizzy, leaving no obvious strategy for stopping the then-Magic dunker.
No retro release has ever entered the market, due in part to the parting of ways of Reebok and The Big Agave/Cactus/Shaqtus/Shamrock//Leprechaun.
Now, almost 20 years after its release, we really hope the Vector can make peace with O’Neal.
Yo Reebok, bring ’em back!
