| New Balance has stuck a good chord with sneaker enthusiasts with their Super Team 33 Project. The concept is simple, but expensive – a move that many footwear companies are unwilling to make in this day and age of outsourced design and production. All shoes are designed by New Balance teams from different corners of the globe and all shoes are made in the USA.
The Elements Collection was the works of New Balance Asia/Pacific. The team stretched the potential of the NB 1400 to new levels with the following themes: Fire/Steeel, Earth/Wood, and Water. Each shoe features detailed designs on every panel of the shoe from the tonue, to the outsole, to the insole, and of course the upper. Each shoe also has a Chinese character near the heel to mark each element. Assembled with the finest materials, one can soon understand why Super Team 33 are held with the highest respect in terms of quality.
