Over the past few years, low-cut basketball sneakers have become a popular trend on the hardwoods. Therefore, many brands have released low-cut versions of their top performing shoes and/or provided some of their signature athletes with a low-cut option. Today, we get our first look at the Jordan CP 2Quick, a low-cut basketball sneaker for New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul. According to Jordan Brand, CP3’s quickness is the driving inspiration behind this design. Much like Paul’s previous shoes, the Jordan CP 2Quick features Podulon cushioning by way of the honeycomb patterns on the sole. Jordan Brand also incorporated an outer heel cage for stability and support. As for personal designs, the Jordan CP 2Quick possesses an ‘X’ and dotted line stitching, which represent CP’s ability to make plays and maneuver to any place on the court at any time. The Jordan CP 2Quick will release in the coming weeks (White/Varsity Red, Black/Metallic Silver).
