In our Kicks On Court today, we take time out to notice a Nike sneaker that does not get as much acclaim as the more notables such as the Nike Hyperdunk, the Nike Air Power Max and the Nike Air Blue Chip. While we patiently wait on Kevin Durant’s Nike KD1, we have now spotted Dirk Nowitzki’s first signature shoe with Nike dubbed the Nike Air Max Spot Up.
Last night, against the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki stepped out of the Nike Hyperdunk for once and hooped in his newly-designed Nike Air Max Spot Up. The name of this sneaker was inspired by Dirk’s patented spot up jump shot he is most notably known for. This sneaker is perfect for Dirk’s inside-outside game as it features a breathable upper, visible air unit, full max air and a Phylon midsole. Nike has released four colorways of Dirk’s signature, so check your nearest retailer for the Nike Air Max Spot Up. Click the jump to view more sneakers worn by Quentin Richardson, Jason Kidd, Tim Duncan, Josh Howard, Nate Robinson and others. |
