Nike gets a lot of love from sneakerheads for their early 90s running kicks, but to be totally fair, they didn’t own that era entirely. Reebok was at the top of their game in the 80s thanks to the arobics craze as well as in the early 90s. The ERS series of running shoes were super comfortable, lightweight running sneakers.
While their comfort has not changed, sneakerheads have grown to appreciate their design with integral panels and pieces that make a simple, yet complex upper. The Reebok ERS 5000 just begs to be played with a pallette of colors to tie the shoe together. These are available now in Germany at Overkill. |
