Tinker’s greatest creation? Most of you would probably immediately throw out classic Air Jordans such as the Jordan III, Jordan IV, or Jordan XI, but to many heads who know their history would argue that the Air Max 1 was Tinker’s best work. It was of course the “coming out” of Air technology that Nike had for nearly a decade and put in the face of all of us. Many around the Beaverton office caught feelings when this architect came in and wanted to show the beauty of the inner workings of their shoes. Fast forward two decades plus one and the Air Max 1 is still a very relevant shoe lending itself to the latest Nike retro releases, collabs, and cross model inspirations. The latest being the Nike Court Force Low worked up in a colorway to resemble the OG AM. The “Air Max 1” Court Force Low is one of a handful of Nike Court Forces dropping this season that take color and material inspiration from iconic Air Max funning kicks. These will be delivering to your local boutiques in April, but they are available online now direct from Nike for $68. |
