The time has come. After giving you the structure of how we’re judging our nominees in Tuesday’s “Kicks On Court: The Champion Breakdown” feature, we’re now ready to rank our nominees – well, at least half of them. Today, we unveil spots 12-6 and give you analysis on each. Tomorrow, associate editor George Kiel III will reveal spots 5-1 and crown our 2012 Kicks On Court champion. Stay tuned.

#12 – Kawhi Leonard

It’s only so much you can do with the Spurs’ uniforms, right? Kawhi Leonard made the most of San Antonio’s subtle color scheme by wearing retros such as the “Dark Charcoal” and “Light Graphite” Air Jordan 14s. He also gets credit for debuting the “Wolf Grey” 5s almost a year after they released to the public. Other than that, his sneaker rotation on court was so-so.
