The Armed Forces edition Air Jordan 1s made in honor of the service of Michael Jordan’s brother, James “Ronnie” Jordan, and all others in the Armed Forces will have a fitting release on Saturday, May 24th on Memorial Day Weekend. Overseas these Air Jordans have released in Asia and Europe including Caliroots in Sweden. Two colorways were made for this release – one in traditional Army colors and another that matches desert camo tying back to Ronnie’s recent service in Iraq. Though the conversion rate has made the shoes a little more expensive overseas, the Air Jordans will retail for $100 in the US. Info thanks to Kicksaholic.
Since we are on the topic, we would personally like to thank all of those who have served and those who are serving in the Armed Forces keeping us safe at home. Your continued sacrifice for us is never forgotten. |
