Food can inspire life, but can it inspire sneakers? Perhaps. This Saturday’s “Bright Crimson” Nike KD V shares the same shade as the popular St. Pleasant Mumbo sauce. The chicken chasing condiment got co-sign credit in a recent tweet from Kevin Durant, describing the DMV-derived colorway in a more flavorful manner. Whether or not the color comes from the condiment is unknown, but you can check out an image of the DC’s signature sauce below.
