| Earlier this week we gave you a preview of the upcoming Nike Air Pippen retros, but another shoe that Pippen wore in the earlier part of his career will return this fall. In the 1990-91 NBA season, Scottie Pippen represents Team Flight by wearing the Nike Air Flight Lite High for most of the season. While many remember the Jordan 6 for being the shoe MJ won his first ring, many forget that it was the Air Flight Lite on the feet of Scottie Pippen when he got his taste of ultimate victory.
Besides being remembered for being on Pippen’s feet, something that many vintage sneaker collectors remember the Air Flight Lite was for having a few bright color ways. For the shoes return the shoe will debut with “citron” accents in October followed by a colorway we could have expected to see Scottie wear in November with a box price of $110. |
