Last week, Rick Ross and Reebok made headlines after the footwear brand dropped the rapper due to a controversial lyric that included the company’s name. TMZ reports that Ross will lose between $3.5 million and $5 million due to getting dropped and that he was receiving checks each time he wore the brand’s sneakers. While that amount or payment arrangement has not been by affirmed by Reebok or Ross before or after ending the endorsement deal, Reebok did make an official statement upon his release and Ross did issue a formal apology following it.
