The adidas Mutombo is one of the most anticipated releases of 2013. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the shoe’s initial release, the Mutombo comes back in its original form. Black and white tribal print, along with yellow, red, and green coloring call attention to Dikembe Mutombo’s African roots. His career jersey number “55” is stitched in yellow on the ankle collar, and accompanies the branding on the tongue. Black coloring on the major accents and sole ties the entire shoe together.
