Rasheed Wallace is probably more known for hooping in Air Force 1s than the OG, Moses Malone. Sheed has rocked AF1 high tops over the course of his entire NBA career, and has received countless player exclusives every season. The ‘Ball don’t lie’ broadcaster has now hung up his AF1s for dress shoes, as he officially joined Maurice Cheeks and the Detroit Pistons as an assistant coach. Wallace played with the New York Knicks last season before having his year cut short by injury, but has still been blessed with the NYC-themed Nike Air Force 1 Hi CMFT PRM QS “Roscoe”. The set includes a royal blue pair and an orange makeup, both featuring Sheed’s fadeaway silhouette on the upper. The Tar Heel’s signature is printed on the heel, and the traditional AF1 Hi straps are tagged with one of Rasheed’s many nicknames, “Roscoe.”
Introduced a couple of weeks ago, the Nike Air Force 1 CMFT is the newly designed performance version of the historical icon, upgraded with drop-in Lunarlon foam insoles for maximum lightweight and flexible cushioning. Scoring over 16,000 points in his NBA career, these comfortable Forces might have allowed Sheed to score even more. Was the new version of the Air Force 1 inspired by Rasheed Wallace still balling in them? Let us know what you think of these Premium Air Force 1s in the comment section below.
