The oft-remixed ASICS Gel Lyte III gets an interesting Harvard-themed colorway for its “Three Lies” collaboration with streetwear retailer, CNCPTS. Headquartered in Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the retailer looked to a nearby landmark (the Three Lies statue) as the source of inspiration. Dark teal on the suede portion of the sneaker is made to represent the oxidized copper statue, while the golden color on the toebox stands as a representative of the often rubbed toe of the statue. Set to release on August 16 at CNCPTS for $150, consider this your heads-up notice of when you can pick these up.
