The sequel to the Nike Kobe Prelude I, the Nike Kobe Prelude II continues the trend’s momentum with a celebratory makeup. Part two of the eight-piece Nike Kobe Prelude Pack, this Nike Kobe II rendition is inspired by marble from the European Renaissance. The inspiration is seen on the subtle print that covers the model’s smooth grey upper, as well as on the cross strap and outsole. This member of the Prelude pack commemorates the Black Mamba’s modern renaissance of becoming only the second player in NBA history to have four straight games with 50+ points, on his way to averaging 31.6 ppg for the season and winning his second straight scoring title. This Kobe Bryant accomplishment is inscribed into the league’s record books, and is now stitched into the Kobe II Prelude in gold. Check out Nike Basketball’s official images of the model below, and let us know if you’ll be on the hunt for a pair of these Kobe retros when they come out December 14th for $200.
