Nike Sportswear is hard at work with many Olympic themed and Olympic inspired sneakers. This weekend will see the release of the Dunk High One-Piece “Octa dot.” Playing off the “8” theme for the first day of the Olympics on 08.08.08, the Dunks are a seamless, one piece upper, but are made to resemble the mid 80’s classic by a series of colored octagon shaped Polka dots that stretch across the upper.
The Dunks come in 5 different colorways made up from a combination of two of the 6 Olympic flag colors. The “Octa-dot” Dunks is a Tier-Zero release and are limited to only 336 pairs worldwide. They will release on the day of 8, Friday, August 8th at only Tier-Zero shops including the Santa Monica and La Brea locations of UNDFTD. |
