The first non-running shoe to feature adidas Boost technology, the adidas Energy Boost Icon has been unveiled in a special makeup for the upcoming MLB All-Star Game. Since this year’s festivities are set in Minnesota, this rendition of the cleat draws inspiration from the state’s nickname, “Land of 1000 Lakes.” The adidas Energy Boost Icon “MLB All-Star” Cleat features a reflective water-like print on a solar blue and red upper. For special detailing, the sock liners have a nautical chart and “Mid Summer Classic, July 15, 2014” branding to represent the nickname of the game. Watch for Chase Utley and Dellin Betances to wear these Boosts in tomorrow’s All-Star game, and be on the lookout for a limited run to release later this week.
