Before Michael Jordan took the NBA by storm as a Nike-sponsored athlete, his airness used to hit the hardwood in Converses. Since his college days with the Tar Heels to his involvement with the Olympic squad that won gold during the 1984 games in LA, Converse had become Jordan’s go to brand. In a report by ESPN’s Darren Rovell, a ball boy from the previously mentioned games is in possession of MJ’s Olympic kicks that are scheduled to be auctioned off through Grey Flannel Auctions; the same group that auctioned off the infamous game-worn “Flu Game” Jordan 12s from ’97 for $104,765.
