Reselling sneakers is a hot button topic. As of late, the practice garners negative reaction mostly because it is associated with scooping up the latest releases in abundance while or before wanting customers can buy them at retail, only to soon after unload them at an inflated price. While such tactics may make for good business, it’s generally not appreciated by members of the sneaker culture.

One reseller who is very appreciated by the sneaker culture is Corgishoe. Why? He’s been doing it for years and he’s been doing it right. A deep vault of classics and a straight forward approach to sales has made Corgi the go-to guy to pick up grails and forgotten gems. Doing work on WordPress back in the 2000s to moving models on Instagram in the modern era (this author has bought from him twice), Corgi has adapted to the times without jumping on any trends. GQ caught up with Corgi to talk about his approach to sales and the impact of social media on the sneaker culture. Check it out here.
