If you’re down here in Austin, then you can still get away with wearing breezy summer sneakers or even sandals. For the rest of the country though? Not so much. Luckily, NIKEiD has your feet covered and creative abilities aided with the return of the Pendleton wool option. Using the Air Force 1 High Boot, Air Force Low AC, SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid and Low, Roshe Run Mid and Low and Air Max 1 Mid and Low as canvases, an array of fabrics are up for design. Just how many you ask? According to Nike, Inc., there will be three tartan patterns, one plaid, four solid-color wool fabrics, ten leather choices and numerous accent colors. The tartan patterns available reference historic Scottish culture, dating all the way back to the 1700s.
Fans hoping to design their own Roshe Run Mid or Low, Stefan Janoski Mid or Low or Air Force 1 AC can do so now at NIKEiD. Those wishing to make their own Air Force 1 High Boot or Air Max 1 interpretation will have to wait until November 3rd.
