Nick Young has always pushed the envelope in regards to wearing a variety of shoes we rarely see on court, but the Los Angeles Lakers guard may have overextended himself with his latest on-court footwear choice. During the first half of the Lakers vs. Wizards game last night, Young blew out the sole on his 2001-released “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11 after knocking down a three-pointer. After the mishap, Young switched from the 13-year-old Jordan to one of his many NIKEiD versions of the Kobe 9 to finish the game off.
If you recall, we witnessed two shoe blowouts last season: one featuring Manu Ginobili’s Nike Air Max Closer IV and Tony Wroten’s Air Jordan 10. View more from last night in today’s edition of Kicks On Court.
