The Nike Flight Squad takes heavy design inspiration from the original Nike Air Flight now known as the Nike Air Flight 89. The shoe has received quite some good love from Nike Sportswear with color and material executions since its debut including this premium version of the shoe.
The Medium Olive upper is comprised of multiple materials including a safari-print embossed leather, nylon, and distressed suede – similar to the upper of the “Olive” Air Jordan 5s from 2006. The Total Orange lining ties together the flight jacket theme along with the velcro patch logo on the tongue. The finishing touches on the shoe come by way of the antique brass eyelets, speckled midsole, and clear outsole.
The month of December is a month filled with release dates, lineups, online camping, and other headaches, but these Nike Flight Squads have popped up and are available now at Nike for $135.
