Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Christmas” iD
Kobe Bryant debuted a special NIKEiD version of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV in a 2008 NBA Finals rematch between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics on Christmas Day of the same year. This particular Kobe IV featured a traditional Lakers color scheme of purple, white and yellow in addition to a contrasting set of red shoelaces. A week before the Kobe IV’s debut on NIKEiD, Nike offered the opportunity to design one’s own Nike Zoom Kobe IV iD at NikeTown NYC. To score an appointment, you had to have been one of the first 24 people to visit NIKEiD at NikeTown.
