Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Wes Matthews has been wearing the all-grey “Detail” Nike Kobe 9 Elite for the most part of this season, but in the past few games he has opted to switch to a more current release of Kobe Bryant’s ninth signature shoe. Specifically, Matthews laced up the “Red Viper” Nike Kobe 9 KRM EXT, a shoe that released this past Friday for $275. Colored in Challenge Red and Black, the “Red Viper” Kobe 9, this shoe features compression molded TPU triangles that are inspired by the viper’s vibrant pointy scales.
