As the sneaker industry continues to flourish and expand outside the confines of our uniquely cultivated community, many of our very own are being recognized for their work within our transparent culture. Jeron Smith, Jordan Brand Marketing Manager for Nike, was recently ranked among the 30 best under 30 in his field by Forbes. At just 29-years old, Smith is responsible for transcendent projects including the Jordan Hangar, the #FirstToFly launch of the Air Jordan XX9, and activations surrounding the launch of signature sneakers from Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, respectively. Jeron also steered the wheel for Nike’s “Basketball Never Sleeps” campaign. And with all the work he’s put in recently, it leads us to wonder if he actually sleeps himself. Bravo and congrats, Jeron.
