Within the past week we’ve seen two of the most intriguing young point guards within the NBA receive their very own signature models. First off, Under Armour and Stephen Curry unveiled the Under Armour Steph Curry 1 and then a few days later adidas and Damian Lillard celebrated the commencement of the adidas D Lillard 1. Some may argue that the jury is still out on Lillard’s play after the announcement of his signature line, however, with increases in averages so far this season, it’s tough to argue against Lillard’s ascension. In addition to competing in a highly-competitive Western Conference, the Oakland-native has done enough to warrant a favorable verdict in his play improving after receiving his signature model.
