Straying away from its usual performance-driven mesh and suede construction, the Nike Air Max 1 opts for a Premium leather makeup for its upcoming Black/Red release. Inspired by the Air Jordan 1, which debuted back in 1985, both title shades alternate about the runner’s upper, accents, and outsole respectively, while white encompasses the midsole. Finished with Nike Air logos embossed on the lateral heels, this tribute version of the Nike Air Max 1 is scheduled to arrive on nike.com/sportswear and at select Nike retailers on February 9th.
