Over All-Star Weekend, the adidas Yeezy Boost released in limited fashion in New York City. While the response to the shoe’s Confirmed App launch was mostly good, there has been some very understandable frustration over a defect on the $350 shoe that involves the lateral-side zipper coming off track on certain buyer’s pairs.
After speaking with a valued friend who had their pair break, we reached out to adidas to see how they will be resolving the issue with the Yeezy Boost defect. Here’s what they had to say:
“We are aware that a limited number of consumers are having issues with the zippers on their adidas Yeezy Boost shoes. We are working with affected parties to investigate what might have caused the issues. We appreciate their patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”
Though the current course of action to resolve the issue is still in the works, it certainly sounds like solutions are being searched for. Keep it locked to Nice Kicks for more updates on this story and to contact adidas about your pair of Yeezys click here.
