After launching this past fall, basketball magazine REN Quarterly is back once again with another raw look at a hoops hotbed, this time taking a look at the love affair for the game that has always remained present in Chicago.
Throughout the 48-page issue, you’ll find features detailing some of the city’s greatest players, as well as the stories behind many of Chicago’s most recognizable icons.
Editor Ben Taylor details:
“The cover features a man who represented Chicago basketball like no other, a true legend of the city and the game — Billy Harris. Inside the issue you’ll find a written feature on Harris penned by Chicago’s Isaac Perry, as well as features on the origination of the iconic Chicago Bulls’ logo, the rise and fall of DePaul University, and Simeon Career Academy – the high school attended by Ben Wilson, Derrick Rose, and Jabari Parker.”
