Joining forces with Japanese menswear retailer Monkey Time, ASICS outfits its popular Gel Lyte V runner with a film noir-inspired makeover. Dubbed the “Lights & Shadows,” premium white leather dresses the upper while mysterious shades of black and grey cloak the silhouette’s accents, branding and speckled midsole respectively. Scheduled to first release exclusively in Japan at Monkey Time’s Harajuku & Kyoto Limited Store on April 25th, the Monkey Time x ASICS Gel Lyte V “Lights & Shadows” will be released globally on May 9th.
