When Kendrick Lamar dropped his polarizing verse on “Control” he also described his desire to sport nothing but “Nike Cortez’s” going forward. Although his venture with Reebok has sort of dissuaded that notion in many ways, Nike is looking to have everyone else rocking the aforementioned sneaker as the Nike Cortez ’72 will soon be available.
Featuring a mostly white upper, the silhouette fuses hues of red and blue throughout with red canvassing the swoosh and blue decorating the midsole. With its nostalgic stylings, this model will certainly be a hit once it hits select retailers such as INVINCIBLE on January 23rd.
