Vans, in an effort to expand their revered collaborative reach, for the first time ever partners with Japanese brand and famed artist Yusuke Hanai for a surf-inspired collection driven by modern mid-century design cues.

Releasing for spring under the Vans Surf moniker, the capsule range highlights both footwear and apparel. The footwear consists of budding variations of the Vans Rata Vulc SF, the Authentic SF, the Slip-On SF and the Hanalei sandal, all of which adorn Yusuke’s unique printing. Referencing seagulls, fish, flowers, cacti and an emo surfer, the collage-like aesthetic blends well with the simplicity of the footwear, evoking a foundational motif singular and appealing to this collection.

The Yusuke Hanai x Vans Surf Collection can be seen in greater detail below. It’s available in its entirety here.
