The Air Jordan 5 retro released on January 20, 2007 in the OG colorway of Black/Metallic Silver-Red. This was the second time that the Black/Metallic Jordan 5s retroed. The OG Air Jordan 5s released in 1990 followed by the first retro in 2000. Two changes that took place between the prior retro and this release was that the Nike Air branding on the back was replaced with a Jumpman logo and Michael Jordan’s jersey number (#23) was added to the side of the heel.
