Sure, the Nike Zoom KD 4 is the pivotal pair in Kevin Durant’s sneaker line, but is the Nike KD8 Elite the start of a new era? While sock styling has been the move in soccer, tennis and even running as of late, the KD8 Elite takes said concept to new heights and new arenas both literally and figuratively.
Stepping out in shades of grey, this new “Neutral” variation is anything but its monicker based on its design, though it does become quieter thanks to its color code. Mixed materials and toe box graphic add depth to the monotone makeup, with the extended sock sleeve and visible Zoom Air cushioning adding to function and aesthetic simultaneously.
Look for the Nike KD 8 Elite “Neutral” to launch online at Nike on May 5th.
