The Nike Air Max 96 is set to return in celebration of its 20th anniversary this year. But the model won’t necessarily orbit in its truest essence.
While the upper of the newly resurgent Nike Air Max 96 remains intact, the midsole tooling does not. This retro rendering of the shoe takes from the Air Max 95 and incorporates the Ultra sole that first debuted in 2015.
No release details for the Nike Air Max 96 retro have been revealed. But you can check out the two returning “Concord” and White/Navy-Neon colorways below and stay tuned for more info.
