Pharrell’s much-anticipated adidas NMD “Human Race” collaboration went incredibly fast this weekend. Despite the shoe’s hefty $240 price tag, Skateboard and Three Stripes fans quickly rendered the shoe impossible to secure at retail and, effectively skyrocketed resale pricing.
Williams, always ahead of the cultural curve, is already on to another variation of his celebrated collab. He debuted this customized pair on Instagram yesterday, which highlights an alluring green base paired with “Hu” stitching in white at the toe. Which, intentional or not, smartly mimics the “Human Element” symbol from the periodic table.
No release information for this upcoming Pharrell x adidas NMD “Human Race” shoe has been revealed. Stay tuned.
