Reebok’s Year of the Court has played a critical role in a hallmark year for the brand. They’ve focused on heritage releases through and through, reminding us just how impactful their archives can be. But in a playful twist to the “court” moniker, Canadian retailer Livestock takes things in the complete opposite direction, and it’s great.
Imagining a horrible day in front of the judge, the Livestock x Reebok NPC Strap “Bad Day in Court” explores that sentiment in a lux grey pigskin suede chalk full of details which can be seen on the heel, tongue label and insoles. The numbers 02003-16 represent Livestock’s timeline from the year they opened in 2003 to current, but in this case, it looks like a prison id number.
