Long before DJ Khaled was selling millions of records, touring with Beyonce and dropping major keys on the world, he was an employee at a sneaker shop. A former sales associate at Champs Sports now working with the company in a much greater capacity, the Miami native was recently rewarded with a private Champs store of his own.
Built within his Miami-based We The Best recording studio, the 525-square-foot shop is an invite-only space for Khaled’s close personal friends. What’s more, everything in the space is free for those invited with their pickups at Khaled’s discretion. The shop includes what resides in all Champs Sports stores – Jordan Brand, Nike, adidas, and Under Armour.
