Jordan Brand’s “Flight” theme has been ongoing throughout the company’s history. Today, that lineage continues with the “Take Flight” pack, featuring the Air Jordan 15 which was originally crafted around stealth fighter jets.

Returning the aforementioned Air Jordan 15 in an original colorway that first released back in 1999, the three-piece collection also includes militaristic iterations of the Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan 8, respectively.

Each come doused in Sequoia, playing towards their inspiration from bomber jackets and fighter planes. The Air Jordan 5 specifically leans on the P51 flight bomber jacket in green with touches of Vachetta Tan throughout. The Air Jordan 8 takes on a similar aesthetic sans Vachetta Tan. Instead, Safety Orange accents hit the tongue and outsole while an infusion of neoprene provides a smoothness to the bulky silhouette.

The Jordan Brand “Take Flight” Collection will see a staggered release. Things begin with the Air Jordan 15 on January 7, which is followed by the Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan 8 on January 28 and February 11. Give each pair a closer look below.
