The OG Air Jordan haul expected in 2017 just got a whole lot better as it has been reported that the Air Jordan 12 “Cherry” will drop this spring.
Commonly referred to as the Air Jordan 12 “Varsity Red,” this original colorway was worn by Michael Jordan during the 1996-97 Bulls championship season in which they defeated the Utah Jazz in the NBA Finals. The model last retroed in 2009 gleaming with Metallic Silver eyelets near the ankle collar.
Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed this release which means a Jordan Release Date remains unknown. Yet with images of the 2017 retro popping up across the web, it’s almost certain that a drop isn’t far off. Stay tuned.
