After a re-introduction in 2013 and collaborative releases alongside Rise and Lemar & Dauley in the years that followed, the heritage-based FILA Cage continues down a strategic path of heightened visibility. For spring/summer 2017, the elder model takes on its greatest aesthetic liberty yet, implementing a headband infused ankle collar.
Debuted at the Agenda Show, the Cage is removed from customary suede construction opting instead for smooth white leather. Traditional FILA branding marks the side panel as it always has, while the headband ankle collar adds a lightness to the shoe while seamlessly incorporating the brand’s rich tennis history.
