San Antonio-based Jake Danklefs has made noise for years in the custom sneaker world, but some of his best work has been when he overhauls a project with restructuring and retooling shoes. His latest creation comes appropriately timed leading up to Air Max Day tying together two Tinker Hatfield classics of the Air Jordan 3 and the Air Max 1 “Atmos”.
“I wanted to tie together two of Tinker’s earliest icons that, coincidentally, both had visible Air units.” – Jake Danklefs
Dubbed the Atmos Air Max 87/88 Hybrid, customer @m_b_leider, has something that is rarer than the Atmos Air Max 1/Air Jordan 3 Pack that released over the weekend with this one of one creation by Jake.
