Irish designer J.W. Anderson, best known for his namesake brand and a stellar ongoing collection with A.P.C., recently debuted his spring/summer 2018 collection at Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy. Among that collection was a charming Converse collaboration true to Anderson’s minimal yet sophisticated aesthetic.

Working largely with the Chuck Taylor All Star while also branching out to the Thunderbolt 84, Anderson allows his imagination to run wild with the Chuck coating it in striking green, blue and red shades with a glittery material that thankfully doesn’t come off too flamboyant. There’s also all-over printed pair with J.W. Anderson printed throughout. Anderson’s Thunderbolt rendering is more material centric, utilizing an on trend patchwork execution in a rich navy blue shade juxtaposed with hints of tan.

This J.W. Anderson x Converse collection won’t be available until early 2018, but you can grab a first look below.
