In a friendly match in preparation for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup on Saturday, the United States Men’s National Team defeated Ghana 2-1. And while in the grand scheme of things, this game was just a scrimmage and didn’t truly mean that much, there was at least one main takeaway from the match – the new Nike USMNT kits look pretty sweet.
Featuring bold red and navy horizontal stripes and tonal obsidian stars throughout the jersey top, the USMNT kit also has white stars that line the shirt sleeves. USMNT’s mantras of “One Nation” and “One Team” are also printed on the left and right sleeve respectively. On the back of the shirt, the sayings “We Can,” “We Will” and “We Are” are printed graphically. The last detail of the jersey can found on the inside collar as that’s where “Inner Pride” is printed.
