Before Paul George begins a new phase of his career in OKC, his Nike PG1 continues its inaugural run with a new colorway this weekend that odes his mentality on-court.
The Nike PG1 “Checkmate” honors George’s strategic method of play, both calculated and explosive. Precision, though, is George’s key attribute, which is also seen throughout the minimally styled PG1. The simplistic white and black colorway is also unique in that in mimics his approach to the game, making it easy for himself and his teammates.
Grab this PG1 on July 29 via Nike+ SNKRS and Nike.com followed by a larger North American release on August 5.
