It’s weird to say the ’90s are back cuz they damn sure never left, but just the same, some of the odder styles and trends from the decade that was are creeping back into pop culture almost twenty years following their debut.
Take edgy runners. Whether sharp like the Air Max 97 or clunky like Raf’s Ozweegos, out of the norm low tops are crushing the game. Previously retroed but perhaps more on trend now, the Reebok DMX Run 10 is a bit of both. Smooth in styling but still seeing some what of a platform sole, these take well to both retro track pants or wide legged raver wear.
Unfortunately, we can’t confirm that this take has actual DMX cushioning — which is a shame because it’s one of the best comfort systems ever. What we can confirm is they look dope and are a nice alternative to the chased commodities mentioned previously.
Releasing in a very versatile “Black Ice” palette, this revived runner is available now at Caliroots.
