In London to celebration the initial release of the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0 in Europe, legendary designer Tinker Hatfield took some time to chat with Highsnobiety about the self-lacing shoe he helped create. Then, skipping ahead to the upcoming Nike HyperAdapt 2.0, he dropped a gem that will have many waiting with bated breath for the sequel.
“There is a 2.0,” Tinker reported, “and it’s specific to basketball. And we think it’s going to be one of the best basketball shoes ever.”
