Teaming up with the sneaker shop Afew, Saucony has created a version of the Shadow Master 5000 that is inspired by the architecture of the Goethe museum in Dusseldorf. Dubbed the Afew x Saucony Shadow Master “Goethe,” the runner even pays homage to the museum’s founder with a shadow silhouette of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe on the tongue label.

Sporting a red rose and grey colorway, the sneaker has a premium suede upper and a white midsole. Making the sneakers even more unique, Goethe’s poems are printed in a variety of places like the heel panels, insole and laces.

Releasing in limited quantities, the Afew x Saucony Shadow Master “Goethe” will be available at at Afew on October 14. Afew will also sell a select number of pairs online but you have to sign up for the raffle on their site.
