To get you even more hyped for the start of the regular season, Nike Basketball dropped a new ad on Tuesday that features appearances from Paul George, Kevin Durant and LeBron James. Interestingly enough, the commercial’s narrative includes James beating Durant in tightly contested game.
Peep the video below, which follows the journey of a fictitious baller named Donte Grant, who goes to Duke and then eventually teams up James on the Cavs. The narrative is somewhat similar to the actual life of Kyrie Irving – goes to Duke, gets drafted by the Cavs and then plays with James – but that just might be more of a coincidence than anything else.
