New York City menswear purveyors Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow of Public School have triumphantly collaborated with Jordan Brand on both sneakers and apparel over the past few years. Now it seems they’re turning their attention to Nike and the resurgent Air Force 1.
Revealing a co-branded AF1 Hi on their IG today, Public School has largely reshaped the model by widening the tongue and altering its heel panel. What’s more, in lieu of a traditional strap overtop the ankle collar we see a smaller strap on the heel. Exposed stitching surrounds the Swoosh branding much like we’ve seen with Virgil Abloh’s take on the AF1 Low.
